Hanamura Philosophy
I. Core Philosophy
Connecting people, walking alongside the community.
II. Mission Statement
The Foundation: Connection and Mutual Support
The core of Hanamura’s diverse activities—including care, childcare, training, housing, and disability support—is the connection between people. We foster environments where diverse individuals, spanning generations and roles (children, users, families, staff, and local residents), interact to create mutual support and learning that cannot be achieved alone.
Our Role: Walking Together, Not Changing Alone
“Walking alongside the community” signifies our commitment to move at the same pace as the lives of the people who live there, sharing challenges and joys, rather than aiming for radical transformation. Our role is not to proclaim large changes, but to accumulate daily, small acts of assistance and ingenuity. We believe this daily accumulation of efforts shapes the region that continues for the next generation.
III. Core Values
### Respecting the Individual
We value the dignity and will of every person, ensuring everyone can live authentically as themselves.
### Embracing Diversity
We accept differences in age, position, and background as value, learning and growing together.
### Walking Together with the Community
We share the community’s challenges and joys, building new value in partnership.
### Accumulating Challenge and Creativity
We explore new methods without being bound by conventional frameworks, using failures as fuel for innovation.
